- ORDERING NOTES -

We offer many Traditional Baluster designs for your Victorian or Country style porch.  This tends to be a large project due the the amount of area that Balusters need to cover.  I have provided a standard size, typically 30 inches  tall.  I can adjust any of the Balusters to be shorter or taller, but I think you will find the standard size works well.

Sizes:  Typically, a Baluster is around 30 inches high and  3/4 inches thick.  Keep in mind that your bottom rail will be about 4 inches off the deck floor with a top rail above the balusters.  While I can adjust the height, I think you will find the 30 inch size perfect.  Another popular size is 27 inches.  Yes I have those available also.  Your requirement may require something different, if they do, just give me a call. 

Installing - I construct all the balusters to be just ever- so slightly less than 3/4 inches thick.  This way you can slide them into a 3/4 inch groove cut into a railing.  Another popular way is to nail them flat against a crosspiece and then put a strip of moulding over the top and bottom.

CONSTRUCTION:  We use solid Pine in the construction of our sawn balusters.  This is a beautiful wood and ideal for this type of application. 

TIME TO CONSTRUCT:  Orders for Sawn Porch Balusters tend to be larger orders.  Please allow 10 days to two weeks to produce your order.
