New Spandrels section is up. No Video as yet but will get one going shortly
I want to thank Steve W. for sending in his completed project pictures. Steve had me fabricate a three piece bracket using style # B-41 with some twists and turns allowing come cuts to go through the brackets and other not, to achieve a three dimensional effect to apply gold leaf to the center sections.
The end result is something to admire and an example of personalization. Worthy of any Painted Lady in the finest block of Victorian homes anywhere.
Great job steve and everyone seeing your finished picture agrees.
Very pleased to announce something new that we have been working on. All of our STANDARD PORCH BRACKET designs can now be done in a Carved Relief fashion.
This ability to embed the fancy cut outs into a solid piece of wood produces a striking look. Yes they can be ordered with or withour a framing option.
It has been forever it seems that I have wanted to put a professional Trade Show booth together and finally did it. We are excited, well I mean “we” in the royal form of the word as Linda will be doing the shows. I took a quick picture to put it up here.
Our Sign Shop has taken off so much over the last several years that I wanted to do something more than just our on line ordering.
I need another shop cat around here like I need a wood shortage. But that said……a lady put an ad out in our local newspaper about a box of kittens found floating in the river going through town asking for help and well…..we have a new shop cat. Meet Huckleberry, already a big helper in charge of floor sawdust at the moment and perching on my shoulder.
Our old shop cat Stinky has decided, after much hissing, that he is too cute to ignore
and I noticed a fresh mouse next to his food bowl this morning. I have a feeling she will be assuming motherly cat duties. Bottle fed for the last two weeks and doing well. Shown here at six weeks today.
What kind of person throws 4 week old kittens into a river none of us can or will ever be able to understand.
Thank you to the TeBri Vinyards of Southern Oregon for sending in the beautiful pictures of their Victorian Gazebo project. They used Bracket style # B-93 and did some great landscaping.
Thankyou to David for sending in the nice before and after pictures of his project on the Chautauque Institution estate. Very nice before and after pictures and illustrates how striking a difference just adding a set of porch brackets can be. VISIT OUR VICTORIAN PORCH BRACKETS PAGE
I have put up a special page for our popular stackable business sign systems. An affordable sign system that allows for future changes or additions to your front display sigs.
With the rollout of the new Google Plus I have been working on the live video capability that allows for real time video link. This is a handy tool when trying to show someone something we are talking about on the phone. Stay tuned for this new feature coming to the site. You will need a google gmail account, and that is about it.
Have been experimenting with a few friends and it works easily. Was able to set up with my webcam in under a minute.
I am often working with customers on house construction and this might be a handy tool. Tech is moving forward at a rapid pace. For reference, my gmail email addy is victwoodwood@gmail.com Tom
