WALKING PICTORIAL TOUR: The Victorian Village of Ferndale is located just south of Eureka (about a five hour drive up the coast from San Francisco) and is a picturesque little town often used as a movie backdrop.  Although the glory days of it's Victorian past are long gone, what remains here and there is certainly an example of Victorian architecture at it's grandest.  Of note, I included a few pictures of the cemetery that touches the town on it's western edge.  A fine example of a Victorian Cemetery.

NOTE:  Clicking on the thumbnails will bring up a large detailed pictures.  I did not compress them to allow for detailed examination.  Pictures takes with a Nikon D60 and only filtered to contrast to bring out detail in shadows.
