FRAMED BRACKETS OPTION

Any of our wooden Victorian / Country brackets,  can be ordered with a custom solid Redwood frame.  The frames add approximately 2 inches to each direction measurement.  This page was created to display some example pictures and provide a video to explain the process.   While the below video was created to show the framing process for our standard 1 inch thick porch brackets, the process is the same for our 1 1/2 and 2 inch thick brackets as well.     If your project needs require a framed bracket, please give me a call to order.   In the video below I detail the consruction and application.  

  All frames are approximately 3/4 inch wider than the bracket thickness selected unless otherwise requested.

I bevel the edges and cut the joint at a 45 degree angle to give them a nice finished look.  Caulking/sealer is applied to the edges where the bracket meets the frame as well.   Framed add approx. two inches to the width and height of any of our standard brackets.

I generally make them 1 3/4 inches wide but can make them a different width on your request.  Costs run generally around $8 per bracket.

PORCH BRACKET THICKNESS OPTIONS

Any of our Manufactured Wood Porch Brackets,  can be ordered in several thicknesses.  Our standard one inch thick, or custom thicker brackets  1 1/2 inch as well at 2 inches thick.  For more information on the construction process please see the video below.  While our standard one inch thick brackets are perfect for most applications, some projects require a thicker custom bracket.  The information video below will guide you through the process.  Please call to discuss your project and I can help you with your selection process.
