All are hand made here in the shop from solid wood construction and a full one inch thick. This gives a unique look to any porch project. All are a full one inch thick and made from the same material used to make our standard porch brackets. Shipped sealed and primered ready to paint. We also offer the option of framing all of our Bracket Buddies with a custom fitted solid Redwood support bar, pre drilled with counter-sunk holes for easy mounting. Two Piece Decorative Set

Victorian Bracket Buddies

Designed to be installed between any of our standard porch brackets. Shipped with coat of white primer.

Item # BF-25 Set of Two pieces. Each piece measures approx. 21 1/2 inches long by approx 7 1/2 inches wide at widest point. Bracket portion is one inch thick. Redwood support bars are 1 3/4 inches wide. - SET OF 2 PIECES TO FORM ONE LONG ENTRANCEWAY . The Redwood support bar adds approx two inches to each end for a total length with Redwood bar Approx 25 1/2 inches long. Two of these pieces placed end to end covers an entrance way space of approx 51 inches.

This Victorian decorative entrance way set looks beautiful all on it's own, but by adding a porch bracket on either side you can create quite a grand entrance to your front porch. You can also use this design as a Gable set for a roof peak. See GABLES page for more information.

- Trim Sections - Available in Two Height Sizes -

NOTES: Hand Made Trim sections look very nice and can be used to create a seamless effect placed between porch brackets. They can be installed directly or pre-attached to a piece of thin trim board, available at most any lumber yard, and the entire completed section can be installed as one unit. After attaching in place, use a little wood putty to meld where the sections join and touch up paint for a nice clean one piece look. You can use these sections of Bracket Buddy Trim to completely span the space between your Victorian Porch Brackets, ... See below for examples next to a standard bracket for scale.

Victorian Gables

Yes we have several styles of Victorian / Country style Gables.

-BRACKET BUDDY INSTALLATION 101-

Step One: - When they arrive, paint and allow to dry overnight. Use your exterior house paint applied with a brush. . These brackets are designed to take paint applied with a brush, not canned spray paint or stains.

Step Two: - These bracket buddies are designed to hang upside down between Victorian Porch Brackets and I suggest using a wood glue and small brads or nails to mount. I do not recommend using screws. If you are not getting the support bars, make sure you pre drill a hole slightly larger than your nail to keep the wood from splitting.

NOTES FOR APPLYING THE RUNNING TRIM ITEMS:

I suggest using a good wood glue with painters tape holding it in place overnight, or...... pick up a thin piece of trim or lattice at any hardware store and mount the trim to the board using glue and small nails (remember to pre-drill pilot holes whenever using nails in wood just slightly bigger than the small nail you will be using). Then when all completed, install as one unit between the brackets.
