Solid Redwood backboards with painted black
lettering home address signs. I hand make everything listed here in the shop from
scratch. Several styles to choose from. The black
lettering / numbering really has a nice clean look and good contrast against
the redwood.
All signs are shipped fully assembled and ready to hang as you wish.

CONSTRUCTION
All sign backboards listed here are cut from solid redwood. Lettering is cut and primered then painted black with three coats for a nice deep smooth finish then mounted on the backboard. Backboards are approx 3/4 - 1 inch thick and lettering/scrollwork are 1/4 inch thick. The sign is sealed with a light clear coat of polyurethane to protect the piece.

- full 3/4 inch thick Approx 3 3/4 inches tall. Nice sized house
address numbers. Also work well for mailbox posts. Shipped
sanded with a clear coat of Danish Oil to bring out the grain, beauty, and
color of the wood.

-SIGN INSTALLATION TIPS - DO NOT TAKE AN ELECTRIC DRILL AND START PUTTING IN SCREWS. If you want to use screws or nails to mount your sign you first have to drill pilot holes slightly larger than the nail or screw you wish to use. This way the wood will not split and will expand and contract with your weather conditions over the years.
