History - We have been in business since 1995 and on-line since 1997 and thanks to the expansion of the internet, the business has grown steadily over the years. We produce several product lines. Collectable Doll Furniture, Home exterior Gingerbread...such as Porch Brackets, Victorian / Coutnry style signs, and of course, Home Decor. In 2005 we greatly expanded our Victorian Sign Shop area. In 2009 we added a BLOG to the site as a place to display customer photos of projects and talk things Victorian.

We are one of the largest producers of custom home exterior Gingerbread in the country and are an authorized vendor for several Hollywood movie and television production studios.

We are also proud to have had our work featured by This Old House(c)

I am frequently asked, when talking with customers on the phone, about how I got into such a specific line dealing with Victorian reproductions. I think about this all the time and there is no good answer. For those of you reading this that are old enough to remember, high schools when we were growing up had extensive metal and woodworking programs, I loved it and got the bug, and followed that with a BA in History. Having spent most of my life in Victorian country in Eureka California - and fascinated with the architecture, I think the perfect storm happened. Looking back.....I didn't choose much at all, it just happened.
Everything sold on this web-site is proudly made here, start to finish.....from scratch. Like most small businesses, the Victorian Woodshop started out in a garage....then the cars moved out...then the wife started getting mad...... then the move to a small building..... then a larger one....and as of this writing....a move to one I just can't imagine outgrowing...... I mean it this time.
